Greeting from a new TT owner/member

Just want to say hi. I'm going to linger around here frequently. It's my first Porsche and all I can say is that the car is a handful. I'm not too familiar with rear mounted engine. Any advice?

I plan to track the car at some point. Would you recommend going to a school before I go to a track day?

Thank you all in advance.

Welcome. It's mandatory to post pics after you take delivery.

Get an instructor to ride with you for your first track day.

Hi Jamie. I didn't take a delivery. I'm just a new owner to a 5k miles 08. Am I still obligated to show pics?

Porsche has a nice driving school down in Alabama, well worth it, should be a requirement.

That's my longer term goal. My budget won't allow me at the moment. And if I were to go, it seems to make more sense to take the 2 days course. Are the drills pretty advanced? Do they have TT for you to drive?

I wish Porsche would offer discounts for Porsche owners.

All your questions are answered better than I can on their site. I did the two day, masters, and before too much longer I'll do the 3 day competition version.
