Distronic Plus experience
Im keen on a S550 4M as a dialy driver - I like the gadgets and the ride will suit my commute.
Has anyone had any bad experiences of the DPlus? Im keen on it as I think ill get some use out it and even if I didnt I just like having gadgets...
...but is there any real downside to it - anyone had any dagerous circumstances?
Basically if I pass on Distronic Plus then I open up my search to alot more cars....
any advice appreciated...

Been in a friend's CL63 with Distronic Plus, turned it on and went 80+ MPH, and I'm still alive 
But I do feel that it tends to brake too late, probably because the sensors can't detect things as far as your eye can see, which means you'll have a few uncomfortable stops when you hit stagnant traffic.
