DFW area porsche dealerships

Hi All,

Looking to buy a 911 C2S before year end (my first Porsche). Like some advice on which dealership to make the deal with. Any specific one to stay away from??? Appreciate any and all input on this.

I would check out Boardwalk for sure. I've never had that great of an experience at Park Place - unless you are looking for a brand new 997 or GT3 Park Place really doesn't treat you well.
What are you looking to pick up? 996? 997? Budget? Love to point you in a direction but I don't know what you are looking for

Thanks! I've visited Boardwalk and have test drove an 08 C2 and C2S. I guess I'm looking for either a good deal on 08 C2S or a pre-owned 06-07 C2S. As far as I can tell there is not a good selection of newer model C2S right now...

it's in Houston and not what you thought of probably but what do you think of this??

lol, kidding. This is kind of the end "high season" of you will. You should see more inventory and prices coming down shortly - not major, maybe 5% or so. If I was in your shoes I'd find an '06 coming off lease and grab it with a nice, long CPO warranty. Figure out what you want and expand your search area to include Austin and Houston as well. I'll gladly drive you to Austin to look at one (I've got friends there I've been neglecting)!

I will suggest calling Keith at Park Place - he was a really nice sales guy and had Park Place not totally screwed up my service he might have sold me a Cayanne.

Oh my...that's the ultimate dream car!

I appreciate your offer and agree that I should look outside of the DFW area. I was trying to stay local so I can take advantage of loaner vehicles whenever I drop off the car for service. The closest dealership to me is about 22 miles away and its in the opposite direction of where I work so having a loaner makes things easier.

I'm curious as to why you think there will me more lease returns soon??

Thanks for your input!

Another positive towards Boardwalk. I purchased my Z06 from them, and buying a "lesser" American car from them, you might expect "lesser" customer service. Granted, they didn't roll out the red carpet for me, but they might as well have, top notch professionalism, yet still very personable. This includes EVERYONE that I spoke with, from the receptionist when I walked in the door to the finance guy when I signed the papers.

Others probably have more experiences, but I purchased my car last September, and wouldn't have changed a thing.
