Date Confirmed! Sunday February 1st.

I would like to announce that we will be hosting a Karting event, most likely in conjunction with Vinod and Urbanspeed. Ben M. is coordinating, since he was an instructer at MSR and has the hook up.

MSR has a karting track that is PHENOMENAL. Ben has arranged for us to rent out the track and it will only cost $50 per person. Karting will give you skills that will transfer to your car and does not cost $300 for a day and result in thousands in damage/wear and tear on your car.

We are now trying to pick a date (weekend). Lets hear some suggestions.

Dates you might want to blank out:

Jan 24/25 - The drivers edge event at TWS.

Feb 7/8 - PCA TWS

Might be that Jan 31/Feb 1 weeken would be a good one

 

We aren't looking to have a super huge group this first time out. 10 would honestly be a perfect size group.

Once you divulge the date I'd know if I can go, those two weekends above I am tied up.... Same goes depending on the date I have a friend also wanting to head out there too.

What all is involved other than the $50.00?

 

That is the price to run two 15 minute sessions. Not sure exactly what else you are asking? Let me know if you need to know anything else?

 

Do you need a helmet or anything else will that stuff be provided?

 

I'm working on having Helmets taken Care of. If you have one it would be best to bring it. Apart from that I would just recommend wearing Jeans.
