The 2009 THAWOUT Track Day is set for Sunday, May 3rd. The event will be at Carolinas Motorsports Park and we have partnered with Nasa Racing for a drivers education track day. Each participant will get 3-4 20 minute track sessions and those with minimal track experience will be provided an instructor and classroom time.

This year, we have reserved two rows (four garages) so that we will have two lanes to pass through. These lanes will be on the upper-end of the covered garages. Our technician will be on hand to assist with vehicle maintenance and will check tire pressures and record data once the cars come off the track and pass through the lanes. Parking will be in the Garage Parking area next to the garages and used for any vehicles that need attention. We will have brake fluid and certain brake pads on hand if needed.

Lunch will be provided in the Club House during the lunch break.

The track event starts at 8am. Tech inspcetion will be open starting at 6:30am and a drivers meeting is at 7:45am. The track schedule will be posted as soon as it is released.
