lots of great canon gear at both. gl, i have the sigma version (for nikon) and so far really like it, especially for the price.
in fact, one just popped up on fredmiranda this morning...mint, asking $600.

I was looking at one on craigslist for $350 this week just wishing it was Nikon instead of Canon, bought one on FM in the end.
