Looks like Mecum will (once again) try to sell the incredible Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe at their upcoming auction in Monterey. Recall that this same Coupe failed to sell at their Original Spring Auction, despite getting bid to $6,800,000...

Any idea what it will take to win the auction?? As you'll see, it is clearly north of $7,500,000...

Really cool history, too bad a deal hasn't been done yet.

I think somewhere around 8mm will buy the car... interested to see if it gets there.

They were already offered 8.5 mil and turned it down. I'm thinking 10 mil to get this car....

Looks like they should have taken that 8.5 "offer." Car just sold for 7.25.
