hey guys I have a 997tt' 07,
just recently i started to hear some rattling noise from the roof, if i go on an uneven road surface, speedbump or those road nails. Any suggestions?

Had a very similar problem with my 997s, when the sunroof was open it did not rattle, but when it was closed it did.

I took it to Porsche and it was covered under warranty. They told me it was simply a rod or some type of piece that fell out of its place. The rod was behind the passenger side and before I took it in, I felt around where I thought it was and was able to push it in, but it you hit a hard bump it would pop back out and rattle on small bumps.

Porsche fixed it though. Yours is an '07, it should be covered under warranty.

I guess it is a common fault on Porsche's part.
