997tt Tune Mods And Safety For Daily Driver

Please forgive me if this is a dumb question.
Modding a 997 Turbo manufactured by Porsche with driver safety as top concern, especially for novices like me who will never go on track, would the safety of the car be compromised?
Would the mods and software flash such as GIAC compromise features such as Dynamic stability?
Obviously Porsche has done huge RnD on such issues so if some of thier safety features which are important in driving conditions such as rain or slippery roads.. . . how do the tune companies ensure that these are preserved after the mods.

The biggest safety device is the driver. Even with the advanced safety devices like stability, abs etc. the laws of physics still exist and even with those - on a stock car - you can get into trouble.

Modding the car with suspension and tunes etc. is going to change the dynamics of the car as such it may become more unsafe because it now becomes much more easier to get yourself into trouble.

I would not go as far as to say mods directly cause problems with the safety systems, they just allow you to reach those threshholds a hell of a lot easier. Most will tell you to learn how to drive a Porsche effectively before doing anything, you can be 10x more reliable than the computer.
