I was graciously taken on a guided tour of Vivid Racing in Chandler, AZ yesterday by Dan. I just wanted to take a brief moment and thank Dan for his time and information he provided me to quite a lengthy list of questions I had regarding my TT.
Vivid Racing is a large facility! I got to look at exhausts, suspension parts, wheels, tires, plenums, Y-pipes, and carbon pieces (talk about a candy store). There are a lot of kind people working here, it's very clean, and very professionally run.
Dan is a great guy!!! He really put me at ease regarding how to move forward with creating the car of my dreams from my existing TT. He never tried to push a sale, but rather helped guide me stating he'd rather do things step-by-step (I was hesitant in doing a large suspension package) over time to see how happy I was rather than me ending up displeased with a system that was more aggressive than I wanted (hope that makes sense).
I'm going back this morning to take a drive with him in his blue 997 TT that was driven in the Texas Mile to get a feel for the suspension. It looks like I'm moving forward with a set of JIC Cross CO, front drop links, Agency Power sway bars front and rear, and 997 GT2 alignment and GT2 ride height adjustment. We (Dan and I) feel this will get me much closer to the feel of my friend's 997 GT2 (which is my goal).
All-in-all I was not only impressed with Vivid Racing and Dan, but very comfortable with having Vivid Racing transform my TT.
