Hi, just wondering if anyone has any insight:

When my car is wet after driving in the rain or after a car wash, the main belt in the engine just squeeks as it turns.

The Porsche dealer replaced the entire belt under warranty, and for the next month, even if the car was wet (rain or car wash), there would be no squeeking.

Now, the squeeking has come back. Porsche dealer says that they ALL squeek and I just have to live with it.

Is that true? Any ideas?

Mine did it for the first time over the weekend after I washed it. Only a few seconds and it went away.

 

Mine squeaks only for a second or 2 after car wash. Water flows down from the engines vents to the belt. Once it drys up, it shouldn't make a noise.
