Looking to tap the brain trust here

I am amazed at the knowledge of automotive mechanical systems some members have here so I thought I might ask for advice.

My 911 TTS is not my DD-Sadly. My DD is a M35X Infiniti. I have 33K and am on my 2nd set of Rotors. I just had the 2nd set installed Friday at N/C as a courtsey by the dealer. The last set was installed at just under 16K

I dont drive with 2 feet, I don't beat the crap out of it but I am a spirited driver. Carf will also need tires before end of lease . 4/32 left all around.

What can I do, if anything to break these rotors in any better for long term? Its a lease that is up in November but the car is mint and my Son gets his license soon I have been considering buying it out if the numbers are right.

TUIA for any assistance.

Thanks,

Jeff

Tires are understandable @ 33K. 15-20K is probably the life of them if you just cruise around.

Why did the rotors need to be changed? Based on what?

I'm not sure that I understand what you are asking.

I'm assuming you are talking about a PCCBs on a current generation turbo? Daily driving will not wear these rotors. They will easily last >100K miles with just daily, non tracked use. Provided that you change the pads before they exceed 50+% wear (especially in the rear) the carbon rotors are more than capable for daily activity for a very long time.

Warped rotors felt on braking in petal and wheel.

Wondering of there is a way to season or brake in rotors on the Infiniti. I obviously run thru them faster than the average customer.

go aftermarket like giro disc or something, many OEMs have crap rotors, I went through them on the Jetta I bought my GF in college and my GX470 ate two sets before swapping out for aftermarkets which I never did need to replace with double the miles on them vs. the stock ones at time of replacement.

I know Lexus made some changes do the materials as it was a common problem.
