Anyone have any past experiance on quieting a very squeeky fire ext mounted in front of the drivers seat? I have taken it out, tried tightening all the mounting bolts, putting a piece of rubber behind the can, etc and it still squeeks loudly over every bump and pavemnt ripple.

the strap itself can be tightened as well.
also make sure the torx bolts that attach it to the seat bottom are tight.
