Can anyone tell me if installing a K&N air intake is a good idea? I have heard of problems with the mass flow air sensor being damaged and water getting into the engine through the K&N. K&N's website says that the mass flow air sensor issue is an impossibility but I have not found anything on their site on the water issue. I had an experienced mechanic tell me not to install one because he has seen a lot of problems.
