996t vs 997t handling/feel

I am looking to upgrade from my modified 05 turbo s. The main thing I don't like about the car is the handling even though I have coils and sway bars. How does a 997T compare to a 996t with street coils and sway bars handling and feel wise?

Sorry, I've never driven any 996, but my 07 TT stock is the tightest, most sure handling machine I have ever raced/driven. I definitely make use of the PASM which puts solid firm dampening and rebound where you need it. If this were track only vehicle, I would have to say the sway bars would be a must, however I also use the vehicle for DD duties and sometimes just like to relax.

Alex08TT is infamous around these parts
Went from 05 996 TT S to 08 997 TT. Night and day difference. 996 is more raw in handing and peformance. However, the 997TT is hands down my choice. All the power and handling even more refined.
