New GTI 2012 6 Speed
Was getting tired of my X5 and with the wifey getting a new SUV I did an 180 and bought a 2012 6 speed VW GTI to have some fun.
Lots of car for the money and a blast to drive.

Nice color choice!
I am amazed at this little car. I've had mine 2 years now and it is as solid as the day I bought it. Fun and Fast! Congrats!

PBG,
sharp...got to say I love this car more and more each day.
I have to do something with the crappy dunlops, but the rest is pure joy.
The tune has been great and certainly worth the $600.

I haven't done much from stock. Tint, some cosmetic things but nothing engine related. I'm thinking of doing the Driver's Gear springs just to drop it a bit, again, cosmetic. Although I have heard goods things about them handling wise.
I just picked up the 4dr version of yours. Really is a great little car. What company's tune did you to for?
Edit, I didn't look in your signature. I am planning on going APR as well, I bought their intake already. And mine came with Pirelli P Zeros

awesome...all the best...P zeros are much better...enjoy
Mine came on Goodyear Eagles with the Karthoums and they are "OK" but pretty noisy. I'll probably need tires by next year and Michelin's will go back on. My Boxster had Pilot Sports and I loved them.

If you do the springs let us know you thoughts with the handling.
thanks
