Had my first auto-x of the season on Saturday where everyone has been reclassified. Let's just say there seems to be some politics involved and I may need to get more aggressive to defend my title.

So...2 questions:

1. Are there any 18" wheels that can fit over my PCCBs? I've heard rumors there are a few, so I'd like to seek them out if possible to save money from buying 19" wheels/tires.

2. What is recommended for a pure auto-x tire with no compromise?
(9 events a year, about 15 laps per event, about 1:15 second laps)
My Pilot Super Sports would be relegated to DD duties.

To get granular on some numbers, lets say I have 139 points to play with:

* +1 point per mm of thread over 205 (front + rear)
* + 40 points for DOT tread wear rating of 140-199
* + 60 points for DOT tread wear rating of 50-139
* + 80 points for DOT tread wear rating of 1-49
* + 100 points for DOT tread wear rating of 0 or Unrated

Opinions or suggestions? Gotta fend off these 911s!

I don't know if I can fit that wide of a tire; what are the full specs of the tires mounted? I'm assuming these clear the pccb's (as they are stock on GT2s, right)? Are they a6's or r6's? How many heat cycles and use are on them?

Looks like your on the other side of the country - I have no idea what shipping would cost, but it probably adds a bit to your asking price.

Wheels are perfect and scarce.
