Seems my stock TT without the Sport button pushed is hitting these bumps pretty hard around here these days. Yes, the tires have over 11k on them, and the car just hit 11k. Could that be why my suspension feels so harsh, or am I just getting to be an old man?

 

HAHAHA I don't think your an old man ! However, I will say that the roads in NY are a horror show. NYC is the worst (Manhattan can at times be a biblical level clusterf...). That being said, I think putting the 997TT into sport mode simply exacerbates the sensation of a bumpy road. There is no answer except maybe to drive elsewhere. As you are currently operating in non-sport mode, your suspension is very soft and you should feel less bumps. I also don't believe that your tires with 11K miles on them are a materially significant factor in the sensation you are feeling. Like I said our roads are a disaster.

 

Congrats on GETTING 11,000 miles on your tires. You need to start driving that thing a little harder.
