I have a 2011 TTS Cabrio. I took it out for a trip out East this wekeend and we open and colsed the top a half dozen times over the weekend.

1/2 way through the weekend, upon closing the roof the windows are supose to close- the passenger side window stops at half way closed while the driver side completely closes? Is there a setting for this or is this a dealer fix only item.

Anyone else with similar experience. Other than this the car was flawless. Temp went over 100F and the AC worked very well with the top up and worked OK with the top down-LOL. (Helps minimal but makes the wife happy)

Only other issues are with mini vans creaping in the left lane of a 2 lane highway all the way to East Hampton. Is there a mod for a paintball gun launcher mounted between my front Lazer Difusers and another rear facing for the guy behind me sitting on my tail that thinks perhaps I am the problem?

Mine has done this a few times. Just shut off the engine, remove key, restart car.

Hit the up button on cab top or window switch and it works again.

I have the smart top installed, and one time I was getting on the freeway, going about 20 MPH - decided to put the top up and it stopped half way up - even when I slowed down, frozen. Pulled over- key out - everything worked again.

CHP pulled up behind me and asked if I needed a tow. He saw what happened and when I explained the top issue, his funny comment was "I thought stuff like that only happened to Italian cars."

We both laughed and went on our way.

 

Sometimes the window microswitch gets a mind of its own, and simple reprogramming will usually fix it.

As above, or when car is on, raise errant window and hold button in position 30 seconds, then let go. Drop window down with switch, hold again 30 seconds after all the way down, let go.

 

Thanks guys. Went to the dealer and it is a programing issue fixed easily in the PWIS systerm. I have appointment for oil and this issue.
