I am starting to look for a 2005-2007 MB G wagon. Can anyone enlighten me if there are certain issues with the vehicle I should be concered about or costly repairs. I am looking for the lastest model I can afford. There seem to be a fair number of AMG wagons out on ebay/autotrader. Want to make sure I do my homework before pulling the trigger.

 

Then you will be looking for a G500. G550 didn't come out until 09 I think. And if you're concerned about costly repairs then look elsewhere. It's an archaic military vehicle with leather. While that is awesome it is about as practical as asking the gas mileage for a G55 AMG.
