I'm trying to get together some nice cars for a C&C type of event. But where I live I rarely every see anything besides Honda's. Just curious if anyone on this site lives in the Columbus, GA or Auburn area?

I have been looking at this forum for years but have never been a big poster. I was hoping there would be people in this area to meet up with and possibly go together up to some Atlanta meets. I have been a Porsche owner since 1998. Two 1999 boxsters, 2004 cayenne and what I still have since 1999, my baby, 1994 911 turbo 3.6! Picked up a 2013 GTR and I am waiting for delivery hopefully the end of this week or the beginning of next. Waiting for Switzer to finish up the last little details, (P800) Hope we can meet up sometime. Let me know.

 

Hey, great to see some action in this thread. I met a guy downtown this weekend at Bootleggers who drives an E60 M5. We need to work on a Saturday morning GTG. This is the last week of duck season so I might be hunting Saturday morning. Would anyone be interested in something around 9:30 on Jan 26th? What about meeting at Columbus Coffee in Bradley Park across from Jay Toyota?

 

I've been lurking on 6SpeedOnline for a few years, just never registered until now. Yeah I met HIX downtown... it was completely random.

Unfortunately the M5's tire shredded on the way in to work today. Not even sure why. Seriously considering on just getting new wheels and tires, anyway. But it means that the car won't be up and running for a week or two. I'm relegated to driving a beater for the time being.

 

Hey simplyken sounds like we all are having something to deal with, whatever electrical gremlin is messing with hix's car and my car is not getting here until Thursday or most likely Friday. Looks like we may have to wait until next week. Cars, gotta love'em! Lol

Where are you auburn/Columbus guys getting your Porsches repaired?

 

montgomery or atlanta, but mine is in texas getting totally freshened up. did u need help on your car as well?

 

Have you Georgia/Alabama P-Car guys thought about joining Peachstate PCA www.peachstatepca.org/, it is a great group and they have a lot of activities year around. Members are almost always invited to great parties at both the P-Car dealers in ATL
