MK5 TSI and FSI issues

After spending a year or two learning about the TDI engines, I started finding info about DI gasser engines. It seems that the TSI came out in 2008, as an upgrade to the TSI. I really like the looks of the MK5 GTI and Jetta, but was wondering what issues they are having, both engine, and chassis wise.

FSI has a cam follower that should be changed out every 20-30k IMO. Both are DI, so they will have carbon buildup.
