Hopefully not another "Damptronics" thread
Here's the scenario, drove the car the other day pressed PASM button, nothing, no illumination and no apparant change in stiffness. So first thought was sh*t. Stopped a starbucks turned off car, restarted and well it worked. Cycled through PASM/on/off and Sports mode on/off several times.
Maybe I'm crazy but I could not for the life of me tell whether or not the supsension was tightening up. In sports mode yes the throttle mapping change was apparent but suspension??? When I first bought the car it was much more apparant, am I getting used to it and this a big coincedence, I dont' think so.
One thing to note as well is just did the steering wheel swap, could it be programming.
My dealer is very receptive and said bring the car in but I'm eager to have a preliminary diagnosis today. Thanks guys.

Update went for a more thorough drive hitting the same road in both modes, I am crazy
You all know you can find something when looking for it. Regardless I'm concerned why PASM sport would not turn on without any fault codes being thrown.

If the car is riding super stiff - or as if it was in sport mode all the time, one of two things may have happened.
1) You have blown one or more shocks (check by pressing on the corners to see how each is), check all the wiring but start with the fronts under the shock as that is where the wire comes out. The wires there can get cut, etc. and thus shorting out the shocks. and potentially damaging them. These cases are covered under the lifetime warranty of the Damptronics if you are the original owner and have the paperwork. If the actual shock is not shorted but the wiring is damaged, Blistein will send replacement wiring, but someone has to push them. Generally your independent shops will work more with you on this.
2) It could be a blown PASM module. Expensive to replace but easy enough. It's just a module in the passenger foot well. If this is blown or you want to upgrade give TPC Racing a call. They have a great dynamic control module. I would say it was one of the best update to my turbo (full disclosure: I am just a satisfied customer of theirs).
Let us know what you find. Hopefully something simple.
Cheers.

I know with Bilsteins there is not much a delta between on/off settings compared to OEM. This has been one of my complaints. To your input.
1. Checked all for corners everything seems normal. Wouldn't this cause a PASM failure to come up?
2. Noted same question wouldn't this cause PASM failure?
Again I never sall a fault code of any sort. Intermittent electronic failures are scary, spoke with the dealer they want me to bring it for a quick diags run.
Thanks for the input keep you posted.
Take it in, but with mine the right front shock wire went bad, did not get a PASM failure code, when the shock finally blew then I got the PASM failure light. What I ended up doing was to fully disconnect the PASM, including all wiring to the shocks and the PASM module. We also used the PIWIS to delete the PASM option from the car (so basically it thought there was no PASM).
Took it to TPC Racing and had the whole suspension re-done and wow what a difference. Hopefully it's something simple or you find out that the system is operating normally.
Good luck and cheers.
