suspension set up: finally got it right

My set up:
- damptronics with soft springs (not the clubsport ones...).
- alignement: stock turbo (not gt3).
- arms bushings: stock ones. All new parts, all of them (arms, ...).
- ride height: this is where all the bliss hides. I wasn't able to get correct numbers similar to what had been reported on the forum by other members (from under the car, ...). Instead, we removed each wheel and made measurement as it is specified in the Tüv documents.

We set up the car at +10mm over the lowest setting allowed (front and rear). Before, my car was too low (scratching the lip on ramps, ...) and was bouncing all the way around (very unsafe feeling at 300 km/h on autobahn...).

Now? What can I say? On bad roads even on the wet and at double the legal speed, it is the perfect driving machine. Stable and comfortable with a sharp edge knife steering. Even on 98% of truck grooves!

I love this car. It is nearing perfection.

What "soft springs" are those if you don't mind me asking?

Next time you align it, try the GT3 settings. I really think you will like it more. The car looks great though.

Cheers.

Thank you 512bb for the tip. In fact, I even didn't do any geometry update since we put the car back up higher. But she's going to porsche center tomorrow, so I'll ask the gt3 one.

Alex, when you order bilstein, you have the choice between 2 kits. One is the clubsport and the other one is soft. I'll try to dig the part number if I get on it.

Update: I finally kept the turbo geometry setting. Nothing major noticed in handling department. She's still a dream to drive.
