So I love both of these cars for totally different reasons but would like some second opinions. On one hand the GT500 is a modern classic and could hold its value well for being the last car Shelby had his hand in. Its a limited car and the halo product for Ford. Someone was telling me that you could sell these cars overseas for more money then selling domestically because they arent available there. I worry about getting the last car in this generation mustang and having it age very poorly and look cheap. There are many positives of the shelby including the power and unique drivetrain parts and exterior parts. On the Other hand the Corvette c7 is entirely modern with new design and better interior. It will most likely be the same price as a Shelby but they will be made in a very high quantity and sold worldwide. At the end of the day its a base corvette compared to the top of the line limited mustang. If it was your money what would you get? What would make you happier and be more special and why??? Boss 302 Laguna Seca if you can grab one - The GT500 is a very cool car, but not as ready for fun on the track, which would be a big concern for me buying a sportscar.
