park distance problem

Hi

I am a new '11 turbo S owner, picked up pre-owned, w/ 30K miles. Car checked out great everything worked when I brought it home then about a week later I noticed that I was not hearing the park sensors any longer.
I searched the manual and here on line to see if I accidentally "shut" it off but I cannot find anything to suggest that that is even an option.
I had an indie radar installer over my house & he look at it, checked the fuse(s) and all seemed fine.
Anyone have similar experience? Car is under warranty so I guess I'll have to bring it in But I do not want to be not be driving it.

never heard of any car where the PDC stops working, but do you have rear and front sensors or only rear? I assume it is putting the car into reverse that activates the sensors, does your rear backing lights work? I was thinking if the microswitch telling the car its in reverse is ok? (If you are MT I have no clue how the AT/DCT does this)
