Sport Not Illuminating - Help
Sport Not Illuminating - Help
My 2007 Turbo just came out of winter storage today and I drove it for the first time. This car is very low mileage and although I have changed the oil I have yet to use Durametric to extinguish the service now light.
Power seemed normal, the PASM Sport light worked, and the suspension responded, but when I pressed the Sport button, it didn't illuminate, nor did Sport show up on the instrument panel. There seemed to be no Sport effect either.
Has anyone had this experience?

Well, no one appeared to have this problem, but I thought I would post the solution just in case someone is searching in the future. The front control module (in the frunk) controls the sport button and the interior lights (among other things) and it was not showing the correct voltage when tested by a technician at Porsche.
He was able to get things to function by going through the module but once the Porsche diagnostic equipment was removed, the sport button and interior lights still did not work.
Essentially he "drained" the capacitor(s) in the module and then it would read the correct voltage. The sport button and interior lights then functioned as expected.
