On the passenger side window do you have too hold the passenger window button down till half way up till the window automatically closes or do you hit it once and it goes up?

Especially since the cab passenger switch is one touch up.

Somebody in Porsche factory saves a penny with this, quite frustrating option.

I believe this is to prevent the driver from accidentally closing the window on the passenger while they have their hand out, hence you have to manually move it up half way before the auto close begins. This gives the passenger time to alert the driver that their hand/arm is out and the driver can stop the window by simply releasing the button before the passenger's arm gets pinched.

I'm sure there is some lawyer at the other end of this "function"

Probably...so I guess they aren't worried about the cab passenger getting hand pinched with the soft top?

oh glad someone brought this up. I was going to take it to the dealer under warranty. It is a pain I agree but knowing its that way at least saves me wondering what is wrong.

Complaining because you have to hold a button for 2 - 3 seconds! I am sure some of you young guys never experienced this but I remember when we had to actually turn a crank. Try closing the passenger window while driving with a crank. Sorry - couldn't resist.

i didn't see anyway with durametric pro to revise this-
slightly off topic but i did change coding with durametric pro to have windows roll up or roll down when locking or unlocking car with key remote. posted directions under durametric discussion awhile back.
