There are literally hundreds of Porsche error codes: http://www.permoveo.ltd.uk/tabid/123...e/Default.aspx

Unfortunately, p4690 and p4691 do not appear in the database although that doesn't mean they don't exist. Have the codes been cleared and do they return? What type of shop did the scan and what type of scanner was used - PIWIS, Durametric, something else?

My only advice at this stage would be to go to a P-dealer or a very good indy shop that has a PIWIS scanner (specific to Porsche) and have them get to the bottom of your issue(s). Good luck!

You need to get the Porsche codes. The American version you have listed does not show up. Use a durametric and get the manufacture codes.

There is a difference.

As that recall was only some grease added to the actuator rods, and you had it done in 2009, I wonder if this is not something that needs to be done every few years. I always thought this was a weak fix, given the part has been superseded.
