E25 worth it?
E25 worth it?
Hi guys I am wondering if someone here has experience in using E25 fuel and compared it maybe also on a dyno.
I heard that some actual cars are gaining a lot of power just using E25 instead of normal fuel.
Maybe someone has done a reflash and using e25 ,would be nice to hear some real live experience.
Regards
David

good news !! didnt know they released e25... from my point of view i see it as an improved fuel for tuning instead of regular pump, especially if it contains 98/100 ron gas + 25 ethanol.
In case of meth injection we use like up to 25% meth to fuel ratio, in this case is even a bit more... so we can extrapolate is almost like a meth injection, i dont see the IAT improvement as good as meth injection tough but i see the safety of injecting equal amounts of fuel (including ethanol) into cylinders and this is a major factor of derisking everything...
So i think maybe better advance timing can be used (something like 100 octane US maybe or a bit less), linear timing all over the rpms, lower EGT, IAT improved a bit, so more power and less risk... tuned at the limit i would check AFRs too ( same map for both e25 and pump) as 25% ethanol is something to take into consideration, once again this is just my opinion and pure theoretically, i have to expericence with e25 fuels on the road
