Hi,
I'd like to install a USB panel mount connector in the storage box in the center console just behind (and beside) the parking break. To do this, I will have to remove the center console but I'd rather not if there is not enough room around that compartment. Doers anyone know what of clearance there is around that box?

You can remove the floor of the storage box without removing the entire center console with a torx bit.

Nope, I dont think so. I removed the bolts and tried to pull it out but the whole console rises. It's attached as far as I can tell. And the picture shows something in front of the storage area. This can't be right?
