thinking about putting 20's on my 997.1tt

yes, i know it will ride worse. its basically for looks , i like the bigger wheel, less tire look. i don't want to spend a ton , just looking to change the look for the summer , keeping my stock 19's. was thinking about a used set of wheels.
both are old school brands -

maya mmr for sale by a forum member for $1700 with tires

or some gfg baghdads on ebay currently for $1795. seller has them mislabled as fallujah

anybody have any experiance or preference or opinions , warnings? tips?
thanks in advance.

mayas

if it makes any dif- the mayas are on a narrow body and the gfgs are on a widebody. the owner of mayas says no prob. i prefer not to use spacers but dont want the tucked under look and will use them if necessary. also i have ceramic brakes if that matters.

The 20's will look great and perform fine. That one ebay post has me curious about the Pirelli"s. I have Michellin PSS 245/30/20/325/25/20 tires and have been under the impression that only Michelin makes this set. Checking Tire Rack it does not seem that those sizes are available for that Pirelli P Zero Nero-I wish they were-would be nice to options even though the PSS's are great.

I like 20's and in my case they don't ride too bad (I'm lowered too).

my opinion regarding your two selections....style not to my liking (but each his own), weights are probably on the heavier side, offsets, tires, widths may not be optimal.

Take a look at Forgestar Wheels in 20". Fairly light and not too expensive. Also you can specify the offset you want. I just got 18" Track Forgestars and so far so good.
