Dension owners in socal

Does anyone have a 500S BT in irvine/socal? I'd like to see it in person before I commit to installing one, namely how the bluetooth music streaming works via an iphone.

I installed mine and BT stream with an android and it is beautiful. Excellent quality. Despite some others having issues, it works really well for me. I followed the instructions by Eric at bumper plugs. Followed a couple youtube videos and no issues thus far.

I just need to get the final resting place for the mic for the phone.

I wouldn't hesitate to get one and from Eric

Hello fellow Vancouverite. Yeah, I want to see how it handles streaming the music exactly. I'm sure the quality of the stream is good. So many questions. For example do songs pick up where you left off when you turn the car off and on? Can you control music selection through the iphone or does it all have to be through the pcm? Can you select songs through siri or spotlight search? Can you select streaming music apps like pandora or iradio via pcm? Will playing music via grooveshark through a browser like chrome work?

Lot's of little usability questions.

I can't speak for the apple devices but with BT streaming, once you turn off the car, you would need to reconnect and thus you would not have last song and place. That said I can't see why Apple device BT would be any different. You can control via device and PCM.

Thanks Jako. Does the dension auto-recognize your phone and reconnect when the car is turned on?

Not that I know of. It's probably because if have my ear piece BT too? So I need to manually select which BT device I want to pair with? Not really a biggie for me anyway.

Good luck with your choice.
