997.2 Tail Lights: Adjust alignment??

I got my Turbo S back after the Europipe install and I noticed that the tail lights are recessed/sitting back in comparison to the rear deck/truck.

I never paid it much attention before, but was wondering if there is a way to adjust the alignment of the tail lights to make them more flush.
(Perhaps, there isn't and this is how they always were....?)

If so, is it easy?

Thanks!

They are easy to remove with a screw or two but I don't think there is an adjustment, looks normal to me.

Open the rear engine lid and look at the side of the light and you will see 3 screws. The middle screw(star shape) is used to hold the taillight to a platic bracket which is held on by 2 torx screws. The bracket can be moved around to make alignment changes. I need to do this on mine as the light is hitting the bumper and marking it up.

I have a 997.2 and I only see 2 screws. Could that be for the 997.1?

the 2 torx screws take the taillights out, once they come out you will see a 3rd one.
i dont think the third one is for alignment, i think its set.
just play with it.
