997TT cabrio tip -- what's good to know maintenance/problem-wise?
My friend is thinking about buying his wife a 997TT cabrio tiptronic with 30K miles. He said price was around $70K and buying from a friend.
I don't know the year. Probably earlier given the price.
He's a car guy, but I just wanted to do some research for him since I said it was a good buy as far as it being a nice, quick, cool car in that price range. I of course never owned one though and don't know the nuances of ownership. He and his wife have already driven it a lot, so they know they like it at least.
Any major known issues or maintenance things to look out for? I'll tell him to get a PPI anyway, but are there any common bugs/issues that pop up and that he should be aware of? **** happens, of course, and he's aware of the cost of ownership and can afford it, but I'd hate to tell him it's a good car and then run into a common, but expensive and wasteful repair.
Thanks in advance!

check for rattles w the top up
look for any obvious rubbing on the top, headliner, smoothless of the top up and down operations
the top is fairly bullet proof except the annoying rattles that once in a while happens.
lastly, check for the windstop and heated seats, two essentials for a top down car.
