Hi Guys,

I'm new to the Porsche world, just picked up a 997.1 a few months back. Any shop recommendation for basic install and service in the Worcester\Natick\Boston area? Car is bone stock right now..I'm in the market for an exhaust so planning ahead.

Also, wouldn't mind meeting a few other fellow Porsche owners around the area to see what they have done to their cars and get some advise.

Congratulations on the new car! We are located in NH and can help you with an exhaust. We are not a service shop, but rather an exhaust design and fabrication company. We work closely with a nearby shop that can do the installation...Let me know if I/we can help.

 

There're number of good Porsche independent shops in the MetroWest area. Over the years I think I've sampled them all. I keep coming back to Bill Pfister who runs Eutotech Advanced Automotive in Framingham http://www.eurotechracecars.com Bill is an extremely knowledgeable Porsche mechanic and is a supper nice guy to work with. You can't go wrong with Bill taking care of your 997TT . . .

 

I use German Performance Service in Brighton for general maintenance and for modifications I use Ace Performance in Tewksbury.

Picked up a used carless Tubi exhaust. I hope I like it, after reading some of the reviewed it seemed that the standard Tubi was to quite. I was hoping to find a used Kline or Europipe but couldn't find one.

relatively new to Boston area having move up here 6 months ago from NY. can't speak to local techs yet as i've had my 09 serviced once at porsche norwell. i live in Hingham and recently had europipe stage 1 installed in NY by technik 1. if anyone in the area is thinking europipe i am happy to have you come by to listen. pricey but well worth it imho.

 

I have a europipe stage 2 if your interested I live in boston you can hear it and check it out.

Yeah I'm going this Sunday with a couple guys, always a good turnout and usually some rare or super exotic cars show up.
