hi everyone, hope i am posting this on the right place.
I will be visiting the west cast on the 11th-25th september.
I would LOVE to go on a race track, or more!, rent a nice car and have some safe fun.
I live in Greece, I have a stage 1 997.1 TT (620bhp) but there is only one race track too far away form where I live and it is usually closed.
so ANY help, ideas or suggestions would be sooooo welcome.
I will have to be in LA 11th-19th and then i am free, probably vegas or SF. i am also flexible in staying a bit longer, so feel free to suggest anything!

On September 12, I'm going to Auto Club Speedway which is in Southern California about 40 miles east of Los Angeles. It's an event sponsored by the BMW Car Club of America but I'm probably bringing my 911. Sign up and info here:

POC (Porsche Owners Club) has events coming up 9/6-7 at Willow Springs and 10/4-5 at Chuckwalla. Both outside of your schedule but maybe you could switch plans.

Interesting that you consider your car Stage 1 with 620hp...

These guys have now set up shop at Auto club speedway the same track Longboarder mentioned just East of Los Angeles you can rent an Aventador or a 458 for $300 or a new 911 for $200 & take them around the track for 5 laps.

 

If you don't mind the drive, Thunder hill raceway, my personal favourite. Northern California.

to be honest, I have not lately dynoed the car, afetr the latest mods.
before that, with full exhaust and tune it was 550bhp.
lately i have taken out the cats, changed to GT2rs intercoolers, large plenum, y pipe and throttle body, upper and lower silicone hoses, ingnition coils and spark plugs and custom made tune.
it feels definitely much faster, but then again it is just my opinion, which is objectively worthless.
I guess i is still stage 1, am i wrong?
and maybe i should first dyno and then post numbers but i should wait for cooler weather, it is not a god idea to dyno with an ambient temperature of 105F which is the situation in Greece for some weeks now...
