2011 Turbo S PDK, weekend car, EP Exhaust. IPD Plenum, Softronic ECU, Alpha Intercoolers.


The intercoolers were installed after the ECU and talked to Scott and he said that no re tune needed, that the ECU will re adjust. Any input for better performace??


Goal: Weekend car do drive around confortable but be able to pull mid 10s for now. Next year Low 10s.


What do you think? Throttle body? what else??

The only thing you maybe don't have is a y-pipe, I'd suggest the newest revision of the IPD. Maybe headers? BBI Autosport has some really nice Inconel ones. Short of that, I don't know much about your tune and how much power it is making. One other thing you can do is get some stickier tires for traction. I run Toyo r888 and sacrifice road noise (a LOT of it) for the benefit of outstanding traction.

 

Longboarder seems to have a solid setup.

 

Nevermind about y-pipe. I see you are running the Alpha I/c which comes with their own y pipe setup. You should already be deep in the 10s with your setup. Maybe get some lightweight wheels and sticky tires to take advantage of your mods.

 

yes Y pipe with the Alpha kit. Some people hsve mentioned removing cats since EP exhaust is quite inside car at least. Others Throttle body. Others better tunning.
