So I have put on about 4k miles on my car since purchase. My coin collector which is the tray at the end of the center console is now full.

Tonight while driving home from work I noticed that my coins jingle under acceleration in 3rd and 4th gear. Doesn't happen in steady state or while coasting so def not tire and wheel related.

Does anyone else experience this? Is this a sign of something needing replacement ?

Any and all help is appreciated.

 

I think it is just the vibration from your motor mounts and transmission mounts moving under acceleration. I hate the jingle, so remove all loose items...Then when I am at Taco Bell getting my son food...I wish I had some change

I added Semi Solid Motor and Tranny mounts, so I get that even more under harder acceleration...and I have a Tiptronic BTW...but sounds similar to what you are experiencing.

The cigarette holder vibrates. you have to shoehorn something under it or it will cause the whole thing to rattle.
