Strange sound from my GT2 turbos and oil leak

Hi,

While I was cruising last night in my 997.1 GT2 I heard weird noise like grinding coming out from the left side turbo. When I arrived home I saw an oil spot on the Y-Pipe as shown in the picture below. The weird thing is boost still 1.4 bar which perfect and there is nothing wrong with car at all. Anyone might know what is the problem?

Car mods:
Protomotive tune
Forge DV's
BMC Filter
OEM exhaust decated

You should pull the outlet hose off the turbo (the one going to the intercooler). See if oil comes out or if it's wet. If it is pull the air inlet to the turbo to see if it's coming down the inlet into the turbo. If not you may have a seal starting to go in the turbo. You could have someone drive behind you to look for any smoke from the exhaust.

i think you will need change turbos soon, cause they start drop oil. its normal situation.
and about noise maybe its from turbo, and turbo die soon. but maybe its from headers, headers leak also very offen situation

Turbo seal leaking, its actually the lesser evil, if the oil is coming from the engine that would probably be tons of $.

If/When it goes its a perfect opportunity to get some nice 65-68mm ones
