Iam trying to find out what is the whp limit for my 2009 GT2 transmission before I need to modify/upgrade it.. Right now iam @ 545 rwhp.

My near future plan is to be @ 640-700 rwhp.

You'll be perfectly fine at those levels. Most cars up to 1000whp or so haven't touched their transmissions. The engine will break before the trans.

 

You will be fine up to 1200whp. That trans is strong. I would recommend getting a guards LSD though.

 

Is the tranny in a GT2 same as 997.1 t?

And at which rwhp I will need to upgrade/modify my engine?. Do I need to have forged stuff @ 700-750 rwhp?

 

Is the same for the 4wd turbo gearbox's as well or just the 2wd gt2 that can handle the uprated power?

Also both gt2 and tt is the torque a limit for them if so what power would you say?
