Oil Pressure Sensor location...2009tt

Mine is on its way out and I'd like to replace it myself. Anyone have an actual picture of where it's located? I've seen a picture on Porsche parts site diagram that place the sensor somewhere behind the oil filter housing.

Much appreciated. BM.

Hi Burn,
I went through the same ordeal and almost ordered the wrong part because every place I looked it up had the 997 NA or the 996TT pictures. My mechanic couldn't even see it himself and had to download the diagram and still couldn't see it by just looking into the engine bay. Anyhow, the only way to actually see the damn thing is removing the Y pipe and its in the front/right side of the oil cooler. Based on some instructions I saw in a manual somewhere it says you need to remove the Throttle housing also in order to access it. I believe it too as I cant for the life of me imagine how to take that POS out.
I might have to leave this one with the shop and call it a day.

lol...I hear you on the hands size...same here...

Please let me know if it cures the issue with the Oil Pressure and how hard/long it was for the shop to get it done.

Cheers,

Got it back today, it was 5 hours of labor. Given the amount of stuff he had to take off, you might as well add in additional maintenance items you need done.

Holy crap 5hrs to change a damn sensor its stupid!! Not knocking the shop just ranting about the design of the location.
Wow, I guess I'll be waiting for next spring to do mine then. Do you know what they had to remove that took them that long?

I'll upload a picture today of my engine bay after he took out all the **** he needed to. I may be mistaken, but I think he said that even after he took out all the stuff, the bolts for the senor still aren't easily accessible. Maybe at some weird *** angle...
