Need tire mounting help

Idea was to replace my worn rears-No Michelin's available so ordered 4 Pirelli PZero's in the same size 325/25/20 and 245/30/20. I have Champion RF67 wheels.
Braman Porsche was going to do the mounting. They tried for over 2 hrs and could not get the rears to "seat"(fronts went on fine). They sent them to Lamborghini a couple blocks away and the same story-they worked for another 2 hrs and no luck. These were experienced tire guys. Each time there would be a gap you could see around the wheel edge that ran about 4-6" around the rim.
So what's my next step? They put a narrower rear tire on 305/30-went on fine-but its circumference is wrong and this set is out of that 3% size ration (its 5%) so I don't want to blow my front diff. Any suggestions- Please. james

I may be somewhat biased because I have never had a good experience with Pirelli, but it sounds to me like either the tires or the wheels are out of round. Based upon my experience with Pirelli, I would guess it's the tires. If you can return the Pirellis, try Hankook. I have found them to be excellent tires at half the cost of Michelins. not as good as Michelin, but because of the price they are an excellent compromise.

Thanks for the reply I am sure its not the wheels. Hankook doesn't make the size rear I need-so I'm stuck using Pirelli-maybe they were out of round-probably need others to complain to see it there is any pattern.

If the ratio is not whitin the Porsche specs, I wouldn't run it, unless you want to disconnect the front differential like a member did until you could get the right set of tires....
