US Registered 997 TT with Canadian Origin

Good day guys, I was curious, besides a 330 KM speedometer, should there be any concerns about a 997 TT (or any Porsche for that matter) that is currently titled in the US but had Canadian origins?? I feel like people are reluctant to purchase those cars for no apparent reason.

Just a few months ago there was a pristine 997 GT3 for sale for $70K and it barely got any movement. That same car had it been in the US would've sold/listed for $90K+

Thanks!!

I think people are reluctant to purchase because they fear or believe that they will be difficult to register in their state. I know a guy who bought a turbo in Canada recently and got great deal due to the strength of the dollar.

I don't see any issue with it at all.

My '09tt was originally delivered in Canada and has the 330km analogue speedo. I'm the second owner and purchased it with ~6,300 miles on it. The car had already been registered in Michigan. Unsure if the original owner simply purchased it in Canada, or relocated after purchase.

I have had no problems at all since shipping the car out to Seattle. Since the digital speedo can still be set to read in MPH, I find the speedo gives the car some unique character

This is exactly how I feel. But my perception is that others feel the car is "worth less" because it wasn't originally brought into the US, so somehow it isn't as authentic. Odd, I know, but I've seen several scenarios for some very special cars where this happened.
