"Just broke into the 9s with my 991.2 4S"? With all nonTurbo cars now turbocharged it's only a matter of time before our talented tuners start creating Carreras that embarrass their big brothers

 

Was just talking with a buddy about this. Not sure they will be able to be faster than the "turbo" without extensive mods but i think they will equal the stock "turbo" with some simple upgrades.

So i think for a 120k Carrera S/4s with a tune, exhaust, and intercooler upgrade (5k$?) they will be in the low 11s (997.1 bolt on territory OR 997.2/991 turbo stock territory).

 

There is also an option of going with a supercharger for the 911s. Combine that with the lower weight, blah blah and they will give the turbo a run for its money especially on road circuits.
