Change my spark plugs?

Hi guys.

I have a 2011 Turbo S with 18,000 miles. She runs perfect. No mods other than Europipe. Never tracked.

Is there a TIME-interval on when I have to change my spark plugs?
I believe the MILE-interval is at 30,000 miles, but at the rate I'm going that won't happen for another 3-4 years.

Should I consider getting the spark plugs changed soon even though all seems to be running well?

Thanks in advance for the advice!

Good question, they will go 30k no problem unless you get into tuning upgrades and stuff which create more sensitivity to healthy plugs. Never hurts though as a preventative maintenance. It's just a bigger job on that car especially on one side.

Interestingly, I just got off the phone with my Porsche dealer. They said the spark plugs need to be changed at 30,000 miles OR 4 years, which ever is first.
He also said I'll be due for a PDK fluid change soon too. Supposed to be done at 60,000 miles OR 6 years.

It's going to be nearly $2,000 for it all!

Anyone have any input on this??
Thanks.

997.1 tt is every 24,000 miles or 4 years - don't know if different for 997.2. When I purchased my 997.1 tt a few months ago, I argued with the dealer that the car I was buying with 26,000 miles should have had spark plug change. Dealer initially argued it was 30,000 miles but after further checking, agreed it was 24,000 and did the spark plug change as part of the deal.
