Hello fellow 997TTers I am a very happy 997.1 TT owner, but for a while now I just cant get used to that OEM front bumper, personally I feel that it doesnt have enough of a "aesthetic" appeal, and it kind of looks at out place. Anyway, I have been doing a bit of research and reading a few helpful posts BUT still, I havent exactly found a good solid answer regarding what parts are need to perform such a swap. Below I have gathered a list of reference part numbers and need some clarification for which may or may not be needed for installation. If anyone has done such a swap I would be more than happy to hear your experience and knowledge and also any pro's or con's you witnessed along the way. Thanks in advance.

And just a few questions: 1. As the fog lights will no longer be needed anymore, by changing the wiring harness (99762250180), does this also mean there will be no fault code readings? 2. Do the GT2 front bumpers have any differences depending on models? i.e. GT2 bumper of 2007 model is it different to a 2009 model?

That's definitely a great look for sure but that's a long list of parts and labor which is gonna be pretty costly, a quick inexpensive way to spice up the front of your turbo bumper is ,get a Aero kit front lip ,& install a GT2 radiator vent ,throw on some Drl's & a Renline tow hook & bam your done .
Thank you guys for your messages!! I did a research on the GT2 front bumper parts and it truly is costly, even though I do like the OEM GT2 look, I feel its just to much labor and cost wise to do it (personal opinion). So I think I will go with the simple solution by adding an aftermarket GT2 vent and also changing the lower front lip. Again, thank you all for your help.
