Question Computer - Hidden Car Options - Flash Tool(s)

Hi All,

I've recently climbed out of my 2012 VW GTI into my big boy/midlife crisis mobile of a 2015 Cayenne S.

When I first got my VW, I installed my own puddle lights on each door and had to flash the ECU to activate the electrical ports inside of each door. While researching the VAGCOM tool, I found little hidden mods that could be activated by simply turning them on in the VAGCOM/car software. In the end, I was able to activate my puddle lights, activate windows up/down with my key FOB, de-activated the no seat belt chime (though we ALWAYS wear our belts, I hate the chime), and activated the fully sweeping arms on my dashboard (RPMs/Speedo) upon startup. All 4 of these options were disabled via the ECU at the factory.

My question: Is there a tool for Porshe that will allow me to make these same changes?

I am looking at the iCarSoft CR Max Diagnostic tool for codes and such, but can not tell if this will allow me to change options as the VAGCOM did for VW.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Yes, PIWIS II or go on Amszon and find Launch. The main difference between them all is the screen size. They all do coding. Also, check rennlist for a thread on coding all these options using Launch.
