Paint protection from aston/ advice how to

As it was on the nurburgring Aston put some of these paint protector, they have been very well set up years ago, upon repainting a door we had to remove some so I ordered them through all it was expensive but i recommend putting some of these if some are interested i can take picture of those remaining on my car, i waited too ling myself some are cracked. But you want have them setup by a pro unless you guys have advices. I think I messed one out not knowing how and I quit trying at that time.

They're maybe 6 years old, do you think they can still be used?

That's pretty old. If it were mine I'd use those as templates for cutting from new PPF.

I had the PPF installer do what he thought was best for the OEM areas he replaced the PFF on.

I would skip the dealership 3m stuff, Xpel offer better clarity and better protection when going with their thicker 10mil option. I went with this recently and could not be happier.

I chose to cover a mich larger portion on the side rockers, front wheel arch and rear arch to avoid chips from the new aggressive wheel fitment. You can barely see the line and clarity perfect. I let the Xpel PPF dry for a few days and ceramic coat the whole thing.

thanks guys myself i just want replaced the oem stickers, the problem is that i wont find a shop to do it here, 10 years ago i tried for an xkr it was a bummer. and i dont like letting my car one day cause they may use it and drive it, you know, its scary in spain. if i was in the us it be so different. so i need to do it myself. anyway thanks a lot for the advices.
Tonyn923 nice race ramp they are using., superb car i will have done it to mine if i could trust some shops here.

VantageAston is infamous around these parts
Honestly, just PPF the whole car. My car has the factory PPF parts and other areas got rock chips.
Just don't do Xpel.

I presume you have had a bad experience with Xpel but my Aston is covered from nose to tail with it and it is a great product.

I also know of literally hundreds of people who have had their cars covered with it as well with no complains, including someone with what is probably the largest Ferrari collection in the Southern Hemisphere.
