Meanwhile, Porsche also reported growth across its other models, with 911 sales rising 16% to 17,340 units and sales of Boxster and Cayman cars increasing 22% to 12,170 units. For the full year, Porsche expects sales of the 911 model to reach 36,000 units, with 6,000 of those being its top-end turbo model.

What does it mean? Well. Means opportunity for customisation business when the more savvy Porsche owners try to distance themselves from the common owners.

 

It means they build so damn many that Id rather spend my 160K USD+ on Lambo or Ferrari as at least those remain exclusive...although lately, Gallardo options and F430 ones have been bringing MSRPs above the 200 USD mark so different ball game than a 997TT

 

P cars are overproduced, Lamborghini was headed that way, but decreased US deliveries in '06. Ferrari does a great jon underproducing
